Welcome to Tōda,
an upcoming wellness retreat in the mountains of Fukuoka, Japan.
Tōda is a 230-year-old ryokan (traditional Japanese lodging) undergoing a full renovation in 2025 and 2026. Our vision is to preserve the historical architecture while offering amenities designed for world-class guest stays and retreats, all in harmony with the surrounding natural beauty.
Our opening is planned in the following stages, subject to change:
April – June 2025: Parking lot open for hikers and nature lovers (COMPLETE).
July – August 2025: Summer outdoor café offering shaved ice, cold drinks, and select goods (COMPLETE).
April 2027 Ryokan opening for overnight stays and our first multi-day retreat.
